Relational Ministries:
The heart and soul of Christianity is building relationships with people in all walks of life. One  of the primary goals of Reaching Tampa and the entire premise behind the ministry is to build relationships with people that under normal circumstances might not cross paths with a local church.

Ministries in this category are completely geared towards spending time with people in our community. Ministries will include visiting assisted living facilities, mentoring youth, working with seafarers at the port and much more.

 - Foster Care Homecoming Campaign
Sponsoring Group: Reaching Tampa
Description: Currently there are 5,000 children in foster care in Hillsborough County alone, with 800 "aging out" every year in Florida.  The Foster Care Homecoming Campaign was created with the purpose of reaching out to high school girls who are currently in the foster care system. On the day of their homecoming, these girls will have the opportunity to come to one of three designated locations and receive a homecoming dress, shoes, a hair appointment, nail appointment, a ticket to their dance, a picture, and a small goody bag full of essentials for their special night.

If you are a high school girl currently in foster care and you are interested in participating be sure to click here to schedule your appointment.

If you are a business or individual and are you interested in donating dresses or other essential items please review the donation page and contact Courtney Greer for more details.

 - Shooting for Grace
Sponsoring Group: Reaching Tampa
Frequency of Need: Once every 6 weeks
Location: Various locations throughout central Florida
Requirements: None
Description: Shooting for Grace is newly started unique ministry aimed at building relationships and making disciples. Making disciples is an often overlooked command from the Bible that requires time and dedication. Reaching Tampa has created a ministry with the purpose of spending quality time with new believers.

One Saturday a month participants will spend the day with a new believer and shoot some clays along the way. Our prayer is that these Christians will strengthen their relationship with the Lord and meet fellow believers at the same time.

If you are interested or have questions please email Tim Robinson at the email address listed below.
