Reaching Tampa is a ministry dedicated to showing the love of Jesus Christ to the Tampa Bay community. The heart and soul of Christian ministry is building relationships with people in all walks of life. Our goal with Reaching Tampa is to reach out to people that under normal circumstances might not cross paths with a local church.

I John 3:18 says "Let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth" and that is the mission of Reaching Tampa.

Hillsborough County has one of the largest homeless populations in the state and we would like to show the often neglected that there is hope in Jesus. Volunteers helping out with this ministry will hit the streets of downtown Tampa every Thursday night.  more

Over 800 kids will age out of foster care in the state of Florida this year alone. The road to adulthood can be very difficult and for many teens almost impossible. With that in mind, Reaching Tampa has created a ministry with the sole intention of making that next step a little bit easier.  more

This ministry was created to reach high school girls who are currently in the foster care system. On the day of their prom girls will come to designated locations and get a dress, a hair appointment, nail appointment, shoes, pictures, and a small goody bag; all for free. more  more

Thousands of Christians all over Tampa Bay are giving of their time and their talents to reach out and show the love of Jesus Christ. Reaching Tampa was created to multiply of those efforts and allow churches from all over Tampa to find ministries they too can be involved in.

Reaching Tampa is a Christ centered, community outreach initiative made up of people of all ages from all walks of life. Our prayer is that Christians from all over this city will join us in ministry so together we can reach Tampa for Him.
